COURSES OFFERED

Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers

Course Length: 4 hours (may vary with class size)
Course Fee: $55 with BLS Student Manual

This course is for health–care workers and includes single and two–person CPR for adults, children and infants, ventilation with a bag valve mask, and operation of an automatic external defibrillator (AED).


 

Heartsaver First Aid

Course Length: 3 hours
Course Fee: $35

Heartsaver CPR

Course Length: 2 hours
Course Fee: $45

Heartsaver First Aid and CPR

Course Length: 5 hours
Course Fee: $70

These courses provide a framework for learning basic skills that may save a life or prevent further injury. There are no pre–requisites and the certification is for two years. CPR training may include Adult, Child, and Infant certification, and course times vary per these components.


 

First Aid for Public Safety Personnel

This 16–hour course is provided to volunteer fire department personnel to meet basic requirements for public safety emergency response. It often leads to a desire for more training, such as EMR (Emergency Medical Responder) or EMT (Emergency Medical Technician).
